We (Becky and Bill Wilson) are hosting some 2-Day Transition Trainings in our hometown of Stelle. Not only is it convenient for us, but we think most people will enjoy visiting our sustainably oriented community.
A big part of the transition process is finding ways to decrease our carbon footprint while building some resilience into our communities, and residents in Stelle have been dabbling in this for decades.
People taking this training in Stelle will receive a quick tour of our community to include the tool co-op, garden co-op, chicken co-op, a windmill, our solar powered telephone company, and more.
"I found the Stelle Community a great place to take this training.
They welcomed us into their homes and fed us real food, some of it
right from their gardens." Zach F. - Stock Market Trader, Chicago
