3-Stage, 72-hr. Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) Course

Earn Your Permaculture Certificate in 3 Steps
Students have up to 3-years to complete.

This allows an individual to divide up their training and to work at their own speed.  Students begin their Permaculture studies with either the Foundations of Permaculture Webinar Series or the 6-Day Hands-On Intensive Training. You choose.

After completing both of these, students are then qualified to take the third stage, the design practicum, of the PDC Course. This can be taken on site at Midwest Permaculture or by correspondence from your home.  Step 3 can only be taken after Step 1 and Step 2 are completed.

Step One – Foundations of Permaculture Webinar Series (Details)
This home-study portion of the course Includes:
– 18 Hours of Recorded Webinars
– Textbook: Earth User’s Guide to Permaculture
– 150-Question Study Guide
– Over 2-Dozen Additional Handouts

- Price: $195 (This amount is not deducted from the prices below. The Webinar discount/credit we typically offe is for our 8-day trainings and it is already factered in to the prices posted below.)

 

Step Two – 6-Day Hands-on Training Intensive (Details)
It is typically hosted at Midwest Permaculture in Stelle, IL, but can be hosted at various locations.

This Training Includes:
– 6 Days: Mostly Hands-on Experiential Training (some classroom)
– Copy of Handbook: Gaia’s Garden
– 10 Study Handouts
– Many Additional Resources from this Training

Step Three – 5-Day PDC Completion Course (Details)

The next 5-Day Completion Training will be held at Midwest Permaculture in Stelle, IL
July 22-27, 2012

Step Three Includes:
– Additional Pre-Training Home Studies
– Final Pieces of the PDC Curriculum (after completing steps 1 & 2 above)
– Participation in the Creation of actual Permaculture Designs
– Many Additional Resources
– 3 meals per day and free camping (low cost lodging available too)
– Your Permaculture Design Course Certificate (upon full completion)
